Howdy!
Happy Valentine's Day! I make the Valentine's in the family and love doing it. The Dreamweaver Design Team's theme for the month is Love and Friendship. I have made batch of Valentine's Day cards to share with you all month. Remember to leave us some love and check out the other team member's pages. If you want to play along, leave your link on her Lynell's Blog with Mr. Linky or email her.
Today's card is bit a departure, I am not a big pink person and tend not use it. So I challenged myself to play with colors I don't gravitate to. Came out pretty good I think. This card is easy and fairly quick to make.
Dreamweaver Stencil: LL567 Swirl Heart
Dreamweaver White Embossing Paste
Tim Holtz Distress Dry Stickles Clear Glitter
Card Stock
Method
Tape down and mask the heart stencil on the white card stock.
Spread in the white embossing paste.
A paste spreader works the best.
Remove the stencil and clean.
While the paste is still wet, sprinkle liberaly with the clear glitter.
I gently press the glitter into the paste just to make sure it sticks.
Be easy with this step, you don't want to mess up your design.
Tap off the excess and return to the jar.
Set aside to dry.
Once the paste is dry, layer on colored card stock and you have a card.
Easy!
Leave me a note that you stopped by and check out the other design team member's blogs. Then join us by sharing your rif on Love and Friendship.
Make art today and have fun!
