Hi Y'all!
We're off to a new start for 2013 with Dreamweaver Stencils. Our challenge for January is: Fresh Start. If you have any great creations, play along with us, link to Lynell's Blog or email her your art using Dreamweaver Stencils.
Today's creation is from a new stencil that Dreamweaver released last weekend. If you know the bride's colors for her wedding you can easily make this card to reflect those colors.
Ingredients
Dreamweaver Stencil LJ924 Bride
Embossing Ink - I used Ranger's Clear
Embossing Powder - I used StampaMania's Pearlescent Ivory embossing powder
Ribbon by May Arts
Card Stock
Foam Ink Applicator
Method
Tape down the stencil to the card stock you are using for the first layer. I used a tan card.
Pounce in the embossing ink with a foam ink applicator.
Remove the stencil and clean it.
Working over scratch paper, cover the inked area with embossing powder.
Tap off the excess on the scratch paper, pour back into the jar.
Heat the embossing powder until it is glossy and some what raised.
Layer the card on colored card stock to make the card.
Adhere a small gold bow.
You are done!
Now check out the other's creations, the links are listed to the right.
Have fun and make art today.
