Howdy!
Ahhh...December! Brrrr....!!! This month we are challenging you to design a wintery delight. It can be something other than paper, but again we will have two winners: "Best interpretation of the challenge" and "best usage of Dreamweaver products". This last month of the year we will award each of these winners a brand new stencil design we are releasing at CHA. (It's a secret until the very end of the month!)
Never tiring of the season, yet being very busy, I am continuing to share more on the same theme that I have been working on the last several days.
Here is the stencil I used:
Ingredients
Dreamweaver Stencil LL319 Covered Bridge
Ranger Water Mark Resist ink pad
Foam ink applicator
Snowflakes from Stamp A Mania/ Stamp A Barbara Christmas Set
Blue Breeze Kaleidacolor by Tsukineko
Platinum Brilliance by Tsukineko
Glossy Card Stock
Card stock for layering
Speed Ball Soft brayer
Method
Tape the stencil to the glossy card stock.
Pounce the Watermark Resist ink through the stencil.
Remove the stencil and clean.
Using the brayer, roll over the dark blues on the Blue Breeze ink pad.
Roll the ink onto the paper.
Add several layers of ink over the watermarked image.
When you are happy with the amount of ink on the paper, clean your brayer.
Using a clean, dry paper towel, buff the image to make the white stand out.
Ink the snowflakes with the Brilliance ink and stamp on the scene.
Layer up the card, add ribbon, and you are done!
Now check out the rest of the design team. Their links are listed at the right.
Be sure to leave your link of your Frosty Fun creation with Lynell on her blog and enter to win.
Leave me a note so I know you stopped by.
Have fun and make art today!
