Hi Everyone!
I trust you all had a great Christmas and relaxed some. I sure did and it was great!
Today's card is a quick simple card, in keeping with our Frosty Fun theme.
Remember we are still challenging you to design a wintery delight. It can be something other than paper, but again we will have two winners: "Best interpretation of the challenge" and "best usage of Dreamweaver products". This last month of the year we will award each of these winners a brand new stencil design we are releasing at CHA. (It's a secret until the very end of the month!)
Here is my wintery delight of a card -- perfect as a thank you note:
Ingredients
Dreamweaver Stencil LJ819 Snowflakes
Double Stick paper from Dreamweaver
Hawaiian Coconut Soap
Painter's tape
Glitter -- I used Art Institute Glitter
Card Stock
Method
With the painter's tape mask off the snowflake you want to use.
On the reverse side, soap the stencil with the coconut soap.
Trim the double stick paper to size.
Remove one of the backings and stick the paper to the soaped side of the stencil.
Turn the stencil over and add the blue glitter to the exposed sticky paper.
Tap off the excess glitter.
Lay the stencil face down and pry up a corner of the sticky paper.
Remember: You want the paper and the backing.
Peel the paper from the stencil.
Now add the crystal glitter to the exposed sticky paper.
Peel off the protective backing and adhere to your layers.
Finish up the card and you are done!
Now check out the rest of the design team. Their links are listed at the right.
Be sure to leave your link of your Frosty Fun creation with Lynell on her blog and enter to win.
Leave me a note so I know you stopped by.
Have fun and make art today!
Lee
